This microcredential is a self-paced, asynchronous professional development module designed for Cooperative Extension professionals who are working alongside older adults. Modules will prepare professionals working in a variety of expertise areas to better understand adult development, ageism, critical issues facing older adults and best practices for working with the older adult population.

Learners will also have the opportunity to choose elective modules relevant to their personal and/or professional interests. Ultimately, this microcredential will develop fundamental skills among Cooperative Extension professionals to better serve the nation's fastest growing segment of the population.
