Description:

This microcredential is made up of a classroom-based course and a flight training course.

The classroom-based course covers all aspects related to UAS operation and safety considerations. Learners will become prepared to take the FAA Unmanned Aircraft general knowledge exam. Passing the FAA knowledge exam allows the individual to apply for a Remote Pilot Certificate.

The flight training course will develop fundamental skills to set a solid foundation for learners to build and expand their UAS operations. Special attention will be given to applying safety practices during flight and basic proficiency and knowledge of UAV flight operations.
