College of Arts and Sciences

Description:

Combine the history of military operations with cultural, social and political history to learn how war has been fought, its effects, and the diverse roles that people play in war. You will acquire advanced knowledge in the development of modern warfare while expanding regional expertise, which is valued by government agencies. Through close examination of military history, doctrine, and operations, you will be equipped to understand, research, analyze, explain and teach the subject.
