Description
In this course, you will learn how to design lesson plans using inquiry-based practices with agriculture. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- apply Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to agriculture ecosystems in science education
- identify the common parts of the corn and soybean plants and how insects modify key plant structures and functions
- demonstrate the use of Kansas crops in the plant life cycle and explore interactions with insect pests and pollinators
- utilize resources for hands-on teaching with an emphasis on the Kansas Corn and Soybean kits for classrooms
To successfully complete the microcredential and earn a digital badge, you must achieve a minimum passing score of 80%.
