Description

The Grant Writing and Development Achievement Badge is earned when you have completed an integrated sequence of professional training in grant planning, proposal development, and project management. You will demonstrate the ability to identify funders, document community or organizational needs using data, design logic-driven project plans, and prepare persuasive, competitive proposals.

This achievement signifies capability across the full lifecycle of grant development—from researching opportunities and drafting core proposal components to constructing budgets, evaluation plans, and implementation strategies. You will strengthen durable competencies in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving while applying practical tools used by successful grant writers.

To earn the Grant Writing and Development Achievement Badge, you must successfully complete the following microcredentials in sequential order:

Upon successful completion of both microcredentials, the Grant Writing and Development Achievement Badge will be automatically awarded.
