This microcredential covers planning, drafting, revising, and editing technical documents, including reports, manuals, and instructional materials, adhering to industry standards. You will also integrate technical writing tools and technology, using word processors, style guides, and collaborative platforms for document creation and management.
You will apply the core principles of technical writing by demonstrating clarity, conciseness, and accuracy, with a focus on audience awareness and purpose. You will learn to conduct research, organize information logically, and apply basic document design techniques to enhance readability and usability. Additionally, you will present complex information clearly, ethically, and accessibly, considering cultural and other factors in communication.
To successfully complete the microcredential and earn a digital badge, you must demonstrate an 80% mastery of the assignments and practical activities.
