Description
Communicate effectively in French across various specialized contexts. You will gain certified proficiency in both spoken and written French, enabling you to navigate professional environments with ease. This program will familiarize learners with the advanced language necessary for adequate oral and written expression in international business and diplomatic situations.
Through two professional French courses the learner will develop skills in spoken and written French, specialized terminology, the French resume and CV, interview skills in French, and cultural norms of business settings in the French-speaking world. You must demonstrate 70% of achievement on coursework and practical assessments, as well as passing the Diplome de francais professionel exam to receive a digital badge showcasing the skills earned.

- FREN 517 – French for the Professions (3 credits)
- FREN 731 – Advanced French for Professions (3 credits)
