Description

The Excellence in Mentoring Undergraduate Researchers microcredential prepares faculty and researchers to cultivate impactful, ethical, and sustainable mentoring practices across disciplines. You will develop specialized skills to support effective and growth-oriented mentoring relationships; learn to differentiate between research mentoring models; implement strategies that foster mentees’ intellectual, professional, and personal development; and manage common mentoring challenges through communication and conflict resolution techniques.

The content requires 20–30 hours to complete, which includes four in-person sessions. Upon successful completion of the assignments and activities, you will earn a digital badge.
